Hanging from the Tree of Nereese of Camp Half-Blood Austin, the Hades Lanterns are made of black metal and colorful stained glass. Each lantern contains the soul of a demigod lost at the hands of monsters as a symbol of their legacy and their time fighting with us. When traversing through the shadowy lands of the Underworld, these lanterns shine bright with the life of the soul inside, allowing Camp Half-Blood Austin to safely travel through Hades’ Realm, without attracting the notice of the monsters and shadow walkers that reside there.
