Skullies are monsters loyal to the Mayan God of Death, Ah Puch. They are notably famous for their skull masks, hence the name, and are skilled in scaring everyone around them. They typically travel in groups and can emerge from anywhere.
The skull masks take over the body of a person (dead or alive) and are used to do Ah Puch’s bidding when Ah Puch does not wish to get involved.
The most prominent battle of the Skullies was the final showdown between Pontifex, Hector, TK, and Kato in an abandoned western town, where they aimed to send Ah Puch back to where he belonged.
The Skullies managed to push back the questing team with their vicious fighting, disappearing only on the command of Ah Puch.
