If you remember Sharkie the Loan Vampire, then you have met a Vrykolakas! A Vrykolakas is a Greek Vampire that is created or destroyed by two very specific rituals. Since the process for the rituals has been lost, Vrykolakas are a rare sight.
A Vrykolakas is known to have a pale pinkish bald head, clammy white hands, and of course, sharp vampire fangs. They typically wear a set of long black robes and may appear to be floating midair. Given we cannot see their feet, we can never be too sure if they are floating or not.
While its appearance may be enough to scare your camp socks off, it is in your best interest to not attack one. We have never killed a Vrykolakas in the fifteen years Camp Half-Blood Austin has been around. Better to sit this one out.
