The Demeter Rug is the local Demeter Cabin’s hangout spot at Camp. A beautifully woven mat with the colors of leaves changing through the seasons, this rug typically lies in the shady spots of the Camp Half-Blood Austin Dining Hall. Recently, however, the Demeter Cabin has chosen to occasionally mobilize the rug for things such as a magical battering ram and as an extension of their cabin’s powers. Through the power of joint cabin love and Demeter’s good graces, they have been able to turn what was once their meeting spot into an item with magical properties.
