The Shield of Apollo is a bright yellow-orange circular shield with the image of three white legs painted on the front. This shield hangs above the doors of the Camp Half-Blood Austin dining hall, and is the largest protector of the campgrounds, acting as a barrier from monsters and mortals alike. The shield itself was gifted to Camp Director Topher Bradfield as a welcoming gift from his Godly Father, Apollo. While the shield is activated, monsters cannot cross the campground’s dirt border without permission, and any mortal enjoying the rest of the park will only see the effects of The Mist. Over the years, this shield has been stolen numerous times as villains attempt to break down the barriers of camp to get in.
